Building on the strong foundations gained form the reception class, we transition into Key Stage 1: Year 1 and focus on our reading, writing and maths skills. Our curriculum is deeply embedded in vibrant positive activities to extend the children’s learning so they know more, remember more and do more. The happiness of our children is vital and our learning environment is set to provide inspiration to develop children’s curiosity. This is a vital element in any learning.

We wish our pupils to become inquisitive, questioning and knowledgeable and we work throughout Year 1 to ensure children’s confidence increases, enabling them to flourish as they progress into a more structured curriculum delivery.
