School Day
Our school day starts informally from 8.35 am when the school gate is opened and children are allowed to enter school. The official start time of school is at 8.45 am and children must be in their classrooms by this time. The Headteacher, or another member of staff, is always on duty at this time of the morning should you need any assistance.
Reception to Year 2
Hours – 8.45am to 11.45am and 12.45 pm to 3.15 pm
Years 3 and 4
Hours – 8.45am to 12.15pm and 1.15pm to 3.15pm
Years 5 and 6
Hours – 8.45am to 12.30pm and 1.25pm to 3.15pm
Should the school be closed for any reason, such as severe weather, an announcement will be made on this website and also the local authority website, www.worcestershire.gov.uk. A text message will also be sent via the Teachers2Parents system and announcements made on the local radio stations, Free Radio and BBC Hereford & Worcester.
We have a home school liaison book which all children are given on starting school which enables contact to be made with the teacher on a regular basis.
